- I have a Sporster 28.8 installed in a Packard Bell Model 204CD that works fine
- with most terminal or modem programs but when I went to install the QL2FAX
- that comes with it, it installed a driver in System that lets the fax work but
- the com programs are now screwed. The driver that the fax program installed
- was RHSI.COM. I changed the driver back to COMM.DRV and now the fax doesn't
- want to dial out but the com programs are now working well.
-
- I had to disable both COM A and MODEM/COM B in advanced BIOS setup as the
- Packard puts a modem built-in that fro some reason Packard can't tell me how
- to physically disable.
-
- The sportster is internal and set to COM2, IRQ3...
-
- Anybody run across this before??
